CAN I HAVE SHELVING IN A SHIPPING CONTAINER?

Many of our customers use shipping containers for storage, specifically document storage, archiving, storage of tools and secure storage of smaller items. For these applications, shelving can often be beneficial in your container.

We are able to add shelving to your shipping or storage container prior to delivery. Our container shelving is available in a wide range of specifications to suit your bespoke requirements.

Our budget shelving is ideal for storing smaller items, it is not secured to the container, it is simply built up and delivered with your storage container. Each shelf of our budget shelving can hold up to 275kgs making it perfect for organising small tools and materials, files, paperwork etc…

Prebuilt shelving is then available in a range of options up to a loading capacity of 850kgs per shelf making storage of tools and heavier equipment simple. If you were storing heavier equipment on your shelves, we would usually secure the shelving to the shipping container walls or floor to avoid tipping.

In extreme circumstances, you may require even more loading capacity on your shelves. In this instance, we would fabricate bespoke shelving and have it load tested on your behalf to suit your bespoke container shelving needs.
