Case Study – 20ft Converted Sheltered Workspace, Storage and Office Containers – Construction Site

Our client is undertaking a mammoth construction project where their base location will move to various areas in the UK as the scheme develops. At the current base they needed secure storage, large offices and canteens and sheltered outdoor workspace.
New & Used 20ft Containers and Canopy
The set up is expected to be used at several other sites as the development continues so they needed the full system to be containerised and transportable. We worked together with our client and Zapp Shelters to design and install the set up shown below. This storage and workspace facility is built using twelve 20ft x 8ft used containers, one 20ft x 8ft new full side opening container, one new two bay office, one new three bay office and two new canteens.
Grafotherm Treatment of Container Offices
The storage containers were treated with Grafo-Therm whilst on site to prevent condensation forming within the units. Timing was critical with this new set up as any delays would have a knock-on effect with the clients’ project. It was up to us to ensure the installation met the client’s requirements, budget and was deliver on time.
Needless to say, it was a success, and we are really excited about continuing our small role in one of the UK’s biggest construction projects.
