Case Study – Custom 10ft Shipping Container – Laboratory and Tool Store, West Midlands
Client: Piling Company based in the West Midlands
Our client is a multi-national piling company based in the West Midlands. We have worked with them for some time applying Grafo-Therm anti-condensation coating to the ceilings of their containers. However, this time their requirement was very different, they needed a 10ft container which could be split into two sections with access to both sections. One 5ft area was being used as a laboratory and the other as a tool store and the containers would be moved around different sites.
Secondary Set of Cargo Doors in 10ft Container
To solve this problem, we installed a steel bulkhead partition halfway down the container and then installed a secondary set of cargo doors to one 8ft end.
We are currently in the process of assisting this customer with fitting out these containers with shelving, pigeon holes, chain hooks, tank rails, workbenches and mounting points for safety equipment so that they are able to provide their sites with a complete turnkey solution.
The containers were initially delivered to their site for fit out with some critical items and then returned to us for final fit outs.
