Cut Down Shipping & Storage Containers with Alternative Sizes for Sale – UK Delivery
Do you require a cut down or alternative sized storage container?
It’s common practice now to cut standard shipping containers down to form new sizes of steel stores, such as 8ft, 9ft, 10ft, 12ft, 16ft, 24ft, 30ft and 32ft units. The cut down containers are made to order so can be cut to any size needed between 1ft and 44ft! When containers are cut down, they can be cut from the cargo door end, the front wall or have a section taken out of the middle. If we take a section out of the middle of the container, the two original ends can be welded back together to form what looks like a normal shipping container. Cutting a shipping container in this method allows us to retain the corner castings and strong corner posts as well as the original front wall and double cargo doors. It also leaves us with a centre section that can be re-ended with a new set of doors and new front wall, or doors either end if a tunnel container is needed.

When we cut either end off the container, as above it will need to be sealed up with something on the blank end. The new stores can be supplied with the original cargo doors, refitted cargo doors, flat panel or easy open double doors, a corrugated or flat panelled front wall, a single personnel door, glazed doors, roller shutter doors or any other type of door you may need! We provide a wide range of container sizes:
- Small Containers: 4ft to 9ft
- Medium Containers: 11ft to 19ft
- Large Containers: 21ft to 30ft
- Extra Large Containers: 31ft to 44ft
