Do you require a gatehouse?
Like many of our smaller containers, the new gatehouses that we supply are made to order so they can be tailored to suit individual sites. Gatehouses or steel security huts are usually used for one or two people to man an entrance and exit to a site but have many other uses including at the workplace to clock in and out or filter the large number of employees entering site, as pay stations at car parks, as kiosks or ticket offices for events and clubs or you might use one as a small catering stand.
Gatehouse Container Conversion Fabrication
The containerised gatehouses start from 6ft x 6ft and can be up to 40ft x 8ft. They are fabricated in flat or corrugated steel and you can choose what specification the unit is built to. Items to consider are:
- Full internal lining and insulation
- Electrical package with lighting, a heaters and twin sockets
- External security lights
- Fitted sliding windows with anti-vandal security shutters
- Heavy duty vinyl or steel durbar flooring
- Partition walls or counters
- Perspex screens
- Forklift pockets, corner castings or lifting eyes
- High security lockable steel personnel doors
- External paintwork to your choice of RAL colour
- External timber cladding
- Personalised decals for the company logo or product advertising
Plug and Play Gatehouse Delivery
The units are quick and easy to use being designed to be “plug and play” so that you can put the gatehouse to use on the day of delivery. They are easily transported with the option of forklift pockets, lifting eyes or corner castings so you can continue to use the cabin on various sites or at different events.
We can also supply gatehouses in used condition, usually in sizes 6ft x 8ft, 6ft x 6ft or 8ft x 8ft. The used gatehouses that we stock will have seen previous days on construction sites or similar and therefore will be of standard specification including vinyl flooring, one window with steel shutters and a steel personnel door. They will have fitted electrics including a light, heater and power point and we have the option of repainting the container before delivery.
