Unusual Container Deliveries & Site Restrictions
Our hauliers really are fantastic at what they do, they have worked with us to deliver secure storage containers all over the UK. They have overcome an abundance of delivery challenges such as delivering 40ft high cube containers into warehouses, bespoke containers over football pitches, site offices into massive construction sites and mass quantities of units into new self storage sites.
Containers into Tight Spots
Along with the variety of different vehicles at our disposal, our skilled hauliers can also skate containers into tight spots, provide trackway for deliveries over grass, carry out site visits to check access and provide full generic or site specific risk assessments and method statements. We encourage you to send us some photos of your site at the time of your enquiry, including the route into site, where the driver will park and where the container will be off-loaded, to check for any potential restrictions for the delivery.
Container Delivered over a Hedge or Wall
It’s quite common that clients need their shipping container to be delivered over a hedge or wall. We can usually do this but we need to know some details from you first, including the height and depth of the obstacle, if we can park parallel to the final resting position of the container and if it is safe and legal for our haulier to park up where he will off-load.
Any Delivery Concerns?
If you have any concerns about the delivery of your container do let us know. Things that we consider to be site restrictions include, but are not limited to, grass, over hanging trees, overhead cables, weak grounds, gates to site, tight turns, parked cars, low bridges, lifting over walls or hedges etc. It’s always best to let us know about any of these things before the driver turns up to site to make our deliveries as efficient as possible.
