Used 40ft refrigerated containers, like all other sized containers, are temperature controlled and therefore used to keep stored items at an ambient temperature, be that freezing or chilled. Refrigerated containers, or ‘reefers’ as they are known in the trade, are predominantly used for the transportation of, or static storage of, food goods.
